This small company sells front- and back-office management sotware tools for the staffing industry and recruiters. It has a suite of products, built around a core ATS and contact management system it calls ZStaffer.
Its primary function is as a candidate and req management database, allowing job orders to get matched to candidates and tracking candidate skills and availability. When coupled with its ZRecruiter and other "Z" modules, the entire system can accept, import, and store in-bound resumes or candidate applications. It has extensive data displays and provides at-a-glance candidate inventory metrics, as well as quick candidate previews. The software is basic and doesn't appear to offer all the power a busy high-volume office would need. For instance, there's no indication of sophisticated parsing tools, and payroll management requires an interface with a separate accounting system.
It wasn't clear how extensive the assignment tracking is for employees in inventory. We never heard back from the company, and the website doesn't specifically say how the products are delivered, however a news story from mid-2006 suggests that ZStaff was just then starting to look at delivering its products over the Web.
