Zoho, Yo Ho, a tool set to share with you.
That sort of is the idea behind this still-new site from AdventNet, a global a provider of software for the IT industry. At Zoho you rent software, unless it's free, which much of it is. The advantage, besides not having to buy it, install it, and maintain it, is that you can share your work with others. All they need to do is to log-in to your corner of Zoho and go to work.
Officially, Zoho is an Office Productivity Suite that enables collaboration among remote users, none of whom need to own any software. For individual users and small teams, Zoho's products are largely free. For multi-user or multiple projects, Zoho charges fees of a few dollars a month. Its CRM tool, for instance, is free for the first three users. After that, it's $12 per user per month.
Zoho People is the company's people management and recruitment offering, so new it was released in March 2008 in beta. For now, it's free and, if the features described on the website hold up, it could supplant the low-end market and bring even the smallest of companies into the modern world of recruiting.

Zoho People Targets People Management (ERE Media)
The folks over at Zoho are offering a free beta trial of its new Zoho People product, which Web Worker Daily says is "clearly overkill if you have only a few employees; it's aimed at companies who have 30, 50, or more employees and a continuing string of job openings to keep track of." ZohoPeople
The Zoho People application is an ATS with all the essential features: resume database, customizable forms, an employee portal, recruitment and resume management, a configurable checklist, and more. It's targeted at companies above 50 employees, but we think it could appeal to even smaller companies, especially if they have continuous hiring needs.
