This is a multi-product technology company that is a dba of Fables Inc, which also operates the dated career transitions site, CareerFables.com, that was the progenitor of the company.
Workforce OS has three main products including HireTrac, a low-cost applicant tracking system provided over-the-Web, that may be its best known. It offers all the basic functions recruiters want in an ATS including job postings, branded job board that permits online application and resume submission. Up to 2,500 candidate resumes can be stored and searched using a variety of criterium. Other Workforce OS products and services focus on the older worker. These include the Talent Inventory Management, which is a corporate human capital tool that's affordable to the smaller company. Like others of its class, it provides for inputs from managers and workers to create a profile of the individual's skills and experience. There's also a job board for older workers called TheSkillsMatch, which is a Canadian site, and WorkForce OS Affinity Program, which, as its name implies, is an affinity job board for colleges.

WorkForce Software Reports Strong Growth (company pr)
WorkForce Software, Inc.,a provider of workforce management solutions for organizations with complex labor requirements and compliance concerns, reported today that revenue for the first two quarters of 2009 increased by 64 percent over the same period last year.
The company attributed much of the growth to the introduction of EmpCenter Fatigue Management, a program that enables utilities with nuclear facilities to comply with a new regulation from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Nearly 70 percent of the utility companies that operate nuclear power reactor sites, which includes 16 nuclear companies, 4 contractors, 32 locations, and approximately 90,000 employees, are using EmpCenter.

Other systems do this, of course, but TIMS, like other Workforce OS products, is designed with the smaller company in mind. -
