Some of the best products have come from a geek with a good idea. Though we don't know Joe Walling personally, it sounds like he might just fill the bill. He's been a lieutenant with a nuclear engineering background in the United States Navy, a foreman and manufacturing engineer at Michelin Tire Corporation and a plant manager and computer programmer for Buffalo Weaving and Belting, Walling has the kind of background that leads one to think the software he developes is practical and usable.
In 1996 he struck out on his own, forming Walling Info Systems, LLC which offers web hosting, web design and development and software development. The Recruiting Wizard software was originally a custom development job for a local recruiting firm in Piedmont, S.C. Walling designed it to be flexible enough for any recruiting agency. It has been enhanced over the years as other customers requested newer and more powerful features.
Recruiting Wizard starts at $699 for a single user version, and in a remarkably honest marketing statement, the company says that though it doesn't have all the features of more expensive systems, it does have all the features that save users the most time.News & Updates
