If you're in the market for a recruitment solution, take a look at the TriSys demo site. While the product is an ATS coupled with features for executive recruiters and staffing agencies and plays best in the United Kingdom, the company has shown a pile of imagination in how it's put together its demo.
For that reason alone, not to mention you might see something you hadn't thought of, a visit to TriSys is worth your time. The company's TriSys Version 7.0 is the latest iteration of its initial ATS developed in 1993 for Windows PCs.
Today, it's still a Windows-based product, but now is available over the Web, as well as in an Enterprise version for companies that have the desire and the ability to host everything themselves. From what we could tell, TriSys is best suited for either a staffing agency or a busy internal recruiting office that is responsible for sourcing and managing both permanent and temp workers. There's nothing on the company site or in the product description to show how it complies with U.S. laws, particularly the EEOC and OFCCP regs. However, the company says it counts U.S. firms among its more than 100 clients. Nevertheless, the product seems best-suited for U.K. recruitment agencies.

An ATS with most of the usual features recruiters want, coupled with a backoffice management system to track and handle contract workers and search clients. Note the word "most" there. The most striking omission is online, customer site job board functionality. TriSys will distribute a posting to vendor job boards, but if it includes a private label job board for an agency's own site, nothing in the product description indicated it. This is probably a best choice product for U.K. recruitment firms.
