The HRIS is a basic system that stores information such as attendance, salary histories, attendance, benefits, and the like. It works with Trak-It Applicant, the recruitment management tool, but is not a substitute for it.
Trak-It Applicant is a limited-function ATS that requires purchasing additional components to serve as a true end-to-end recruitment management system. The base program manages candidate data once it is in the system (a parser is an optional extra) and includes scheduling and CRM elements, as well as reminders, notes fields, and outbound links to background vendors.
Trak-It doesn't include pricing on the site, but it apparently offers its base units through resellers, one of whom lists Trak-It HR for $495 and Trak-It Applicant for $1,895 both in single-user versions. There are also annual support fees which run less than $500 annually for both.
