TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications

The story of TMP is the story of the rise of the Internet. Andrew McKelvey launched TMP as a Yellow Pages advertising agency in 1967, a time when all phones had wires and computers were gigantic machines made by IBM. The business flourished, growing large enough by the early 1990s to acquire a recruitment advertising firm. Two years later, in 1995, TMP bought Monster Board and Online Career Center, jumping into the digital world as a sideline to its core print advertising business.

A decade later, the sideline had grown into the company’s leading revenue division, sidelining both TMP and the Yellow Pages advertising division. Today, Monster is Monster.com and TMP is a separate, privately held recruitment advertising business, the largest of its kind in the world.

TMP is a full-service agency with a very wide range of products, all focused around helping companies to attract the best and the brightest. A sampler of TMP’s services includes such things as employer branding, advertising campaign development and management, employee referral programs, event and site creation, job posting distribution (JobViper), online resume mining, online survey creation/management, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), web hosting, and it also provides an online portal site to help its customers track all aspects of the recruiting process. TMP is known for quality products and services.

It’s also an innovator, building a client and corporate training site in Second Life, the popular virtual world and dabbling in mobile communications delivery.

Our product listing should be considered a taste of the services. There is no practical way to list even a small portion of the creative and analytical services TMP provides.
