Way back in the old days of 1972 when TalentQuest was founded as Corporate Psychology Resources its focus was candidate selection. Corporate Psychology Resources offered employers a way of assessing candidates and staff for their ability to get the job done.

Like so many other firms, Corporate Psychology Resources evolved, expanding its offerings to include performance improvement, reviews and consulting services that grew naturally out of the need to help clients interpret those early assessments and apply them to improving the performance on their entire workforce.

By 2007 Corporate Psychology Resources had grown so far from its roots that it adopted the name TalentQuest, which was the branded software it developed and made available to clients. Today, the company offers a broad range of talent quality management tools

It consults with companies on issues from candidate assessment to performance analysis, development, succession planning and workforce alignment. TalentQuest consultants will customize programs to meet client needs then build the program into its proprietary software, also called TalentQuest.

How this works is neatly described in a case study involving client Caldwell Banker. What worked for a large enterprise works on a smaller scale.

In the last year TalentQuest has added an executive search division and coaching services.

Our product list (below) is more of a sampler than it is complete. TalentQuest's ability to customize solutions to meet the needs of human capital management and strategy is so broad that except for things like executive search and mentoring, they don't fit into discrete categories. This is a good thing (except for us indexers) because it means TalentQuest recognizes the interdependence of selection, development, performance and a cohesive corporate talent strategy.

Products & Services

  • Human Capital Strategy

Two areas of concentration: workforce strategy and M&A integration. In the former, consultants and organizational psychologists determine what top performers as a group look like, how they fit into the business goals, then assist in developing a strategy touching talent acquisition, development, performance review and succession planning. The mergers and acquisition service helps companies blend cultures, assess incoming employee fit, opportunities and, of course, decide what employees to retain.
  • Talent Acquisition Assessment

Online assessments to help hiring managers hire candidates that are most like the top performers in the job that's to be filled.
  • Executive Services

360 feedback, coaching, mentoring, leadership development and training.
