Founder and CEO Sean Bisceglia has teamed up with Aquent, as minority investor, to launch this searching and screening startup. He's a serial entrepreneur who sold his last company, CPRi (Corporate Project Resources, Inc) to Aquent in July 2005.
TalentDrive offers an intelligent search agent technology that analyzes job client job descriptions then searches designated job boards for resumes that match. Besides comparing skills and experience in the description to those in the resume, the search intelligence employs statistical models to predict how likely a job is to fit the candidate's career path.
When TalentDrive launched in 2007 it targeted smaller businesses. Today, TalentDrive is a subscription service with some 55 global clients using the SaaS provisioned TalentFilter product to automatically search job boards, rank candidates and make the initial contact.

TalentDrive Survey Says Hiring To Pick-up Soon (PRWeb)
TalentDrive says a survey it conducted found that half the employers who responded expect to resume hiring in the 2nd and 3rd quaters of this year, but most admit they are not fully prepared.
The “Recruiting and Hiring Environment in the New Decade” survey (not avilable, except in summary). found:
- 44 percent of companies increased hiring budgets for 2010;
- 50 percent plan to begin hiring most actively in Q2 and Q3 2010;
- Over 75 percent are not prepared for the return of hiring
- Top tools for recruiting new talent? 52 percent proactive recruitment marketing; 31% sourcing technologies; 60 percentsocial media;
- 38 percent are afraid the competition will recruit their top talent.

TalentFilter Emphasizes Usability In Latest Release Of TalentFilter (company PR)
With the help of award-winning user interface design consultants, TalentDrive has emphasized usability in its newest update to its talent sourcing and management tool, TalentFilter.
The company says the new design coupled with enhanced technology has "improved the speed of searches, added new sites to source, and created a tool that requires literally no training."
Version 3.0 of TalentFilter was released in June.

Survey Shows HR Is Preparing To Hire Again (www.talentdrive.com)
TalentDrive, the creator of the SaaS sourcing technology, TalentFilter, released the results from the recent "What Steps Are You Taking to Leverage this Recession" April through June 2009 survey. Staffing Survey Shows Firms Investing (Company PR)
A survey of staffing firms says 58 percent of them are investing in new services and repositioning their company to attract new clients. Another 52 percent have increased spending on marketing and hiring more sales reps.
Most telling is the optimsm of the 7,500 staffing firms surveyed for the TalentDrive-sponsored report. Some 57 percent predicted that the predict the staffing situation will improve by the third quarter of the year.
The survey was conducted byTalentDrive, creator of SaaS recruitment software TalentFilter.
