The industry knows this company as HireDesk, the product name of its over the Web ATS. Its official name, Talent Technology, tells the bigger story; this is a company that wants to automate as much of the talent acquisition process as possible.
Founded in 1999 in the heart of Canada's Pacific coast tech hub, Talent Technology launched HireDesk for small businesses that didn't want or didn't have the technical staff to handle an HR system. Over the years, HireDesk has been improved and enhanced so much so that the product and the company itself has been turning up on all sorts of awards lists, including Workforce Magazine's 2007 "Hot List."
In July 2008 Talent Technology acquired competitor PeopleClick, another company that made the Hot List in 2007. Besides taking a competitor out of the picture, the acquisition added some 280 customers and gave Talent Technology oboarding and vendor management enhancements.
The company's SaaS offerings include HireDesk corporate and staffing; Resume Mirror, a parser and search tool; the PeopleFilter ATS suite, which includes a candidate ranking component, among other features, and; HRAmplify, an advertising network for users of Talent Technology services.

Similar in most ways to HireDesk, PeopleFilter has a matching and scoring intelligence that ranks and presents the best candidates based on a proprietary Common Language Library of over 13,000 unique occupational skills. Eventually, we suspect, the best features of PeopleFilter will be merged with HireDesk. -
AmplifyHR
A recruitment advertising service for customers of Talent Technology. Branding or job display ads appear across an ad network that includes such diverse sites as Bloomburg.com, dictionary.com, askjeeves and others.
