TalentSecure traces its roots to Grafton, Inc., a staffing firm started in 1987. The company flourished to the point that Grafton founder and CEO Carol Carroll began searching for a technology solution to handle candidates and placements. Not finding what she wanted on the market, Carroll teamed with fellow co-founder Dilip Lakhani to develop a custom system, which eventually led to Web-native software for the recruiting industry.
TalentSecure LLC was formed, and software development for commercial use began in 2003. By 2005, the company began marketing the recruiting and staffing program for small and mid-sized businesses. Today, TalentSecure has three products for staffing firms, small corporate HR departments, and search firms. The core, of course, is an ATS that handles requisitioning, posting, CRM, and onboarding in a Software-as-a-Service package.
Worthy of note is the background of the executive staff. Carroll continues to run Grafton but has brought in executives with experience launching their own startups (Michael Franz founded fax company Murata), managing billion-dollar units of Sprint, and serving as IT VPs of companies such as Aegon/Transamerica.News & Updates
