In 1995 two software developers (Serge Remillard and Bill Czap - with healthcare staffing backgrounds and a sense of the growing need in the medical staffing industry) formed Premier Computer Systems, Inc. At that time, the company had a diversified market strategy, all-the-while focusing on medical staffing/agency software as its ultimate target market. By 1999, the firm's medical staffing products became the core of the business.
In 2003, the company released its first Web-based product named StafferLink (so named because the healthcare facilities were linked to the agencies that provided staff). By 2007, the StafferLink product had become the core of the business, and the company changed its name to reflect that. StafferLink claims a base of over 500 clients with 5,000 users.
