The Shark Media Group is an online media company and software solutions provider founded by Chris Klotz and Matthew von Teichman. It owns and operates JobShark, a Canadian job board that claims four million annual users. In addition to the job board itself, the company offers private-label job boards tailored for healthcare and academia, and a custom contact-management program.

Jobshark has been recognized in Canada by the Globe & Mail and Bain & Company as one of Canada's top 25 Internet companies, and #1 in online recruiting, and by Profit magazine as one of the 50 fastest-growing Canadian companies. JobShark's headquarters is in Toronto, with local sales offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, and Montreal.

On January 2, 2007, The Shark Media Group was purchased by Jobserve Ltd of the United Kingdom which has also acquired online recruitment companies in the United States, Canada, Australia, and of course in the U.K. JobServe's worldwide operations now encompass more than 3 million annual job postings and 160 staff members.
