This operator of recruitment websites and developer of ATS and talent-management programs changed its name in 2007 from Keyland Group Ltd. to Saon Group.
Beginning with IrishJobs.ie, the company grew or acquired smaller regional boards in the U.K. It's been on an expansion into China since 2006, when it acquired SHjob.cn, a Shanghai local job recruitment website for 10 million Euros ($14.6 million). Not even six months later it spent another 8 million Euros to buy Beijing job board Myjob.com.cn. Since then it has picked up two more regional boards in China and now also has a presence in the Caribbean, the Gulf, Europe, and South Africa.
Though the company website oddly makes no mention of it, Saon also owns Candidate Manager, an over-the-Web recruitment management system. Based in Dublin, where it claims dominance of the Irish market, Candidate Manager launched in the U.S. in 2005, opening an office in Boston. It now has four U.S. sales offices and one in Canada.

Over-the-Web ATS and talent management system. Intended for smaller companies and cost conscious mid-sized firms that want more than the basics. It offers multi-national legal compliance, CRM, hiring manager self-service capabilities and the system integrates with third party assessment and background providers. The system can post jobs to multiple job boards - including Saon Group's own - as well as the company career site. One thing we found unique and refreshing was the emphasis the company places in explaining its data storage and hosting procedures. It's not the most exciting part of shopping for a system, but good hosting procedures and security may be the most important. -

JumptoJobs
A jobs aggregation site covering the U.K. and Northern Ireland. It scrapes other job boards, corporate sites and agencies. Accepts feeds. Candidate Manager, Saon Group's ATS, can post to the site automatically.
