RFID Tribe is a global association for radio frequency identification (RFID) professionals.It has some 4,500 members in 65 countries working in RFID and sensor technology. The professionals come from all industries and disciplines including retail, consumer goods, academia, security, defense, supply chain, and transportation.
The group promotes collaboration among industry experts through special interest groups, restricted discusssion groups, local chapters, and conferences.
In addition to individual practitioners, RFID Tribe includes an entrepreneurs groups that connects investors with startups.
The site is broad and deep, though as might be expected for a narrow niche, traffic is light, but, presumably, highly targeted.
The career center is on the JobTarget platform. Among the 240 or so resumes are industry managers, hardware and software designers and sales personnel.
