ResumeWare Services Inc., the corporate name for ResumeWare, has a longer history than our data box might imply. 2006 was the year this ATS provider was spun off by Monster Worldwide. which acquired ResumeWare when it bought Howard & Edwards Worldwide, a recruitment advertising firm.
Like other recruitment ad firms, Howard & Edwards developed an ATS for its own use and that of its clients and offered it to others. ResumeWare was one of the first ATS programs to be delivered over-the-Web. Today that's called SaaS. Back in the early part of this decade it was called an ASP model.
While ResumeWare can be run "right out of the box," what makes it different from the dozens of other off-the-shelf ATS's is its high degree of customization. Especially attractive to larger companies (and one look at the client list shows the product appeals to large companies and multi-division companie, too) is the inherent flexibility. It can integrate with many HRIS systems.
Naturally, it offers all the fundamentals: resume capture and parser, CRM, job posting and distribution, job board and extensive pre-seleted reports and a report customization, including integration with third-party report tools like Crystal Reports.
