TalentHook, a tool from Resource Edge, is one product that combines spidering technology with industry know-how to find the resumes a recruiter needs.
The company doesn't make the biography of any of its founders available, though some of the sales staff as well as CEO Phil Gonzalez can be found on LinkedIn. However, the site does claim that the engineers who designed TalentHook used to be recruiters and resume sourcers themselves who all noticed one thing: searching the Internet for resumes was very cumbersome and time-consuming.
The company does provide real testimonials on its website, and by "real" we mean they print the actual first and last name of the person giving the testimony and the company affiliation. According to these testimonies, TalentHook is a big help in making recruiting faster and easier to organize.
