RedMatch technology provides recruitment job matching and advertising assistance. It pre-screens and qualifies candidates and resumes leading to faster time-to-hire. The company was the first to adapt artificial intelligence programs for HR uses. It builds a profile from data supplied by a candidate and matches it to jobs that are similarly profiled. This is not the traditional keyword matching. Instead, the matching involves concepts and connections. The system improves its profiling of jobs and candidates by "watching" what resumes recruiters select when conducting searches. The company has likened this matching process to dating.
This programming was developed for the back-end of the company's first product, a private-label commercial job board it marketed to newspapers. By 2006, with more than 700 newspapers signed on, RedMatch began selling its matching technology as a standalone ATS.
Today, RedMatch still offers its patented job board technology to newspapers and powers The Job Network, which the company co-founded. Newspaper publishers are the largest part of the company's business, but its ATS business is gaining ground. Redmatch offers Redmatch Recruiter, its recruitment management system, Redmatch Staffing Edition, and Redmatch Recruiter Publisher Edition.
