PowerPlace Software is a provider frontoffice software to staffing firms. It offers both an enterprise product that clients buy and a leased, desktop version. The professional version has an optional add-on that makes it available to an unlimited number of remote users.

The features for both include resume importing and document management, icandidate tracking, company/department/job order management, database and free-text searching, CRM, and email management.

Company founder, Dan Kenton, has an extensive history in IT and software development. In 1990, he founded an IT staffing firm and developed PowerPlace to automate the routine recordkeeping and bookkeeping functions of the office. He was a partner in the now-shuttered Applied Logix a recruitment consulting firm.

PowerPlace has about 1,000 users, some of whom have given testimonials. We especially appreciate that these tributes include names and companies, so potential buyers doing their due diligence can talk to actual users.
