PeopleFilter was rolled out in 2003 as a product of Talentology LLC, an online career-management service. In May 2006, Talentology became PeopleFilter Technology to align the company with what had become its fastest-growing product.
In 2007, co-founder Kevin Harrison became president and COO. Six months later, the company received another financial shot in the arm from existing investors Cincinnati-based River Cities Capital Funds and Boston-based Velocity Equity Partners, as well as from several founding investors. The amount was not disclosed, but Harrison said it would be used to support the rollout of a recruiting solution for small- and mid-market employers.
PeopleFilter Now, an on-demand, over the web ATS incorporating many of the features of the higher-end PeopleFilter Enterprise, is marketed to SMBs. Both versions have, what the company calls its "magic bullet," an analytical scoring engine that ranks candidates based on their fit with the job req and other criteria.
The Enterprise edition includes hiring manager portal, candidate self-service capabilities, and a full onboarding component. Some of the Enterprise features are available as add-on modules to PeopleFilter Now.News & Updates
