As a company, Peopleclick was in the news in 2007 for all the wrong reasons. There was a c-suite shakeup that began in late 2006 that returned board chairman Ron Kupferman to his forrmer CEO job. Not much later, the company delayed its user conference for nine months. That, and the company’s dogged focus on talent acquisition, lead to speculation it could be an acquisition target. So far, that hasn’t proven true. To the contrary, in fact, PeopleClick has managed a few coups during the year. Its contact management program was named one of the “Top 10 Human Resource Products” of the year by Human Resource Executive magazine. And the company landed a big account when McDonald’s picked it to provide its recruitment technology to the company’s 1,200 stores in the United Kingdom.

While other technology vendors have expanded into the full range of HR life-cycle tools, PeopleClick has gone the other way, staying in talent acquisition. Though it has added refinements and now includes vendor management, onboarding, diversity services, and contact management products, it has not strayed from its roots as an ATS provider.

The company provides workforce acquisition and management software for human resources functions ranging from recruitment to compliance. This includes applicant tracking, vendor management, affirmative action and EEO compliance, high volume hiring tools, workforce planning analytics, contact management, and onboarding. Its vendor management applications connect hiring managers to vendors in order to reduce temporary staffing costs. The company's affirmative action applications help companies comply with equal opportunity employer regulations. It prides itself on reducing cost-per-hire and time-to-hire and has a reputation for providing excellent technology and significantly improving its customer service.
