A small, Canadian HR technology company providing over-the-Web ATS functions.
Its founder previously ran the now-defunct HRAdvantage consulting and search firm. The search part of the company lives on in NorthStarCareers, which functions as the demo site for NorthStarHR.com. What we saw there, however, was at best a pedestrian jobs board. It is not clear from the site what the customization capabilties of the product are, but demo sites generally put their best foot forward and this one was a turnoff. So little detail is available on the site that beyond describing the look of the job-board function, we can't say much about the ATS capabilities. The website detail suggests it has many of the basic functions of resume acceptance and storage with typical search capabilities.

Described as an "end-to-end, web-based recruitment and applicant tracking solution." Web-based, with basic - very basic - job board capabilities. So low cost it supposedly will pay for itself with only two job reqs a year.
