The San Diego Union-Tribune has joined Monster's network of co-branded recruitment sites, and will now offer combined online and print services via The San Diego Union-Tribune and its website, SignOn San Diego.
Monster’s media alliances now include more than 400 daily and weekly newspapers and over 100 television outlets.

Report Says Federal Agencies Have Need For 270,000 Workers Sep 3, 2009
The Partnership for Public Service estimates that the federal government will need to fill more than 270,000 positions by 2012.
The estimate comes from a survey of 35 federal agencies representing nearly 99 percent of the federal workforce, which was released today in the report WHERE THE JOBS ARE 2009: Mission-Critical Opportunities for America.
The survey was funded by Monster Government Solutions and the AON Consulting.

Monster Names Its NFL Fandemonium Director Apr 24, 2009
Rainier “Onyx” Herrera has been picked as the “NFL Director of Fandemonium.” In a marketing promotion with the National Football League, Monster launched the search for the position at Super Bowl XLIII. Herrera was selected from among the 32 finalists interviewed for the role over two days last month at the NFL's New York headquarters.
Ironically, Herrera is from Hawaii, which has no NFL team, though the Pro Bowl was played in the island state for the last 29 years. Next year, it will be played in Miami.
