You wouldn't know it from the just-the-facts website, but the folks at Main Sequence Technologies (makers of PC Recruiter) are quite well-known.
President Martin Snyder is an active ERE blogger, one of the earliest bloggers in the recruiting space, having started in mid-2005. PCRecruiter, the company's primary product, is widely known and used and, according to recruitment blogger Joel Cheesman, the product offers "unusual versatility in both deployment and functionality." If you read Cheesman's blog (www.cheezhead.com), you'll know that he is picky about the products he approves of.
The product itself comes in versions for corporate and contract recruiters, staffing firms, and headhunters. All three share the core ATS, which includes all the usual features, though the base version does not come with an online job board. That is one of the many add-ons available. The service is provided over the Web in an ASP (hosted) model or it can be licensed for client installation.
The company website claims some 2,700 clients since the product was first offered. Main Sequence Technologies makes a point of noting that it has been profitable since it was founded, has no significant debt, and is entirely owned by its founders. And, oh yes, it is growing enough that it regularly posts new openings on its site.
