Kroll, a global risk consulting company, appointed Phil McVey president of its Background Screening Division. McVey will lead the company's global pre-employment screening, identity management, data breach/fraud solutions, and corporate integrity verification businesses.    

McVey, 45, joins Kroll from USIS, where he served as president of the Commercial Services Division and worked on mergers and acquisitions. He was previously vice president of business operations at ADT Security Services.
