JobScore is a startup that you could say is in the HR recycling business. Those resumes in your ATS or filing cabinet, the ones from the candidates you really, honestly did mean to notify when an appropriate job came up, are mostly just taking up space. Sooner or later they’ll wind up in the circular file.

But what if you could do something useful with them? Suppose you could recycle them to other companies looking to hire? And suppose you could get paid for sharing?

If this isn’t a win-win-win, we don’t know what is.

You get credits for sharing fresh resumes among the JobScore network of companies. You spend credits when you contact a candidate whose resume you source through JobScore.

Were that the end of the JobScore service, it would still be pretty cool. But wait. There's more.

Participating employers get a free job board from JobScore and can post their job openings to dozens of job sites for free or, on the fee-based boards, for the going rate. JobScore also has a matching technology to identify best-fit candidates in the system and, through the JobScore posting service, can provide metrics on how well particular sites work for your company.

If you don't want to share resumes, you don't have to. Employers can simply pay to candidate contact information. And if all you want is the job board and posting service, you can opt to pay.

If you've read this far then it's dawned on you that this is a way to trim the cost of recruiting. It's also probably occurred to you there might be candidate privacy issues at stake. There are, but JobScore requires every candidate whose resume is entered into the SHARE network to opt-in. JobScore's founders - and we agree - expect most will
