HRsmart is a technology company that began life as a job board that was eventually spun off so the company could concentrate on marketing online recruiting and applicant tracking services.

A few years later, HRSmart acquired CareerBoard, an Ohio job board, and began to expand into a few other markets under that label, without much success.

In 2006, HRSmart sold the job boards to private U.K.-based JobServe but continues to provide hosting services. Today, HRSmart concentrates on talent management technology.

Its product roster includes its core on-demand recruiting services, as well as hosted, private-labeled career centers and employee performance management and training services. As HR service companies go, HRSmart is mid-sized with 165 employees and a client roster of 450 across 40 countries. Valero Energy, a darling of HR recruiting conferences and workshops, is a client with a homepage testimonial to HRsmart. Campbell's and Hershey's were early adopters of the company's technology and they remain clients. The company's sweet spot is the tens of thousands of mid-sized businesses in the U.S. and elswhere for whom online on-demand services make the most sense from a cost standpoint. Larger companies can license the technology and manage it in-house. Because the various products are part of a unified system, a company can seamlessly add on components as its needs grow. HRsmart offers its products in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

  • HRsmart Releases New Version Of Its Talent Management Suite (www.prweb.com)

    HRsmart, the HR software company with an integrated talent management suite, released Version 11.0. The updates and enhancements include increased scalability for companies with employees numbering into six figures, a two-click navigation system, a consolidated single calendar and notification system for users and more.

  • HRsmart Appoints Patrick Aulson as Chief Administrative Officer (www.prweb.com)

    Patrick Aulson has been promoted to chief administrative ffficer for HRSmart. Prior to this appointment, Aulson was executive vice president of corporate development for HRsmart.

    In his new role, Aulson will be responsible for HRsmart's human resources, finance, contracts and procurement departments. He will continue to manage strategic planning and develop new business initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions for HRsmart.

  • HireRight and HRsmart Form Alliance (www.hireright.com)

    HireRight, a provider of on-demand employment background and drug screening, has formed an alliance with HRsmart, a provider of talent management software. The new HireRight Pre-integrated Solution for HRsmart will allow business users to manage their background and drug screening programs through the HRsmart Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Applicant Tracking System

    An on demand, online ATS offering all the features recruiters and hiring managers have come to expect, including a few not typically founds in base program such as an onboarding feature as well as OFFCP and EEOC tracking. As you might expect, the ATS is configurable and will interface with most HR information or management systems. Additional modules for voice application, employee referral program and a staffing vendor management system are available. here is also a licensed product available for companies that want to host in-house.

    This handy proudct enables companies to track training delivered to employees or customers and tie it back, in the case of employees to performance assessments and talent management programs. The HRsmart system permits the use of training programs developed internall or by third parties. Of course, this product is only useful for companies that train their employees and care enough to track it.
  • Employee Performance Management System

    The system offers all the essentials to manage employee performance programs. As is true of all these programs, the system tracks, documents, reminds and interfaces with the training system. It has enough automated features that it can provide some automated feedback, but what it doesn't do is sit the manager down and force an appraisal out of hime or her!
  • Career Development & Succession Planning System

    Enables an organization to track employee career plans and goals and their skills and abilities, so they can be compared to the organization’s goals and leadership needs. Company executives have access to key reporting features to uncover talent gaps, view domino reports and identify mission critical positions.
