Experience is a network of career sites specifically geared for college students and (recent) alumni. In addition to career-starting positions, Experience partners with other organizations and institutions to offer positions not typically found on a job board, such as resume-building positions (i.e. internships and mentorships). The company also markets its eRecruiting software to college career centers.
Founder Jennifer Floren was just three years out of college when she started Ivy Productions to provide research, publications and other career-focused content for college students and young professionals. In 2000 Ivy Productions merged with Crimson Solutions, Inc., a provider of web-based recruiting solutions for college career centers. The new firm was dubbed Experience, Inc and Floren took over the helm. The company still serves as a provider of information and research about the new college graduates and their expectations/experience in the job market. Experience has received venture backing from Polaris Venture Partners, Isabella Capital, and Benefit Capital Management Corporation.News & Updates
