ERC Dataplus is the brainchild of attorney Paul Rathblott. Operating as an ASP/service bureau, the company has products in three key areas: recruiting, assessments and surveys.
Founder and CEO Paul Rathblott was serving as general counsel for Baker Industries (80,000 employees) when he started thinking about processes and solutions that could help the company's HR. In 1993, Rathblott founded Employers Resource Company, later to become ERC Dataplus. Employers Resource developed a screening tool utilizing interactive voice response (IVR), telephone-based technology to help employers screen out unqualified applicants
Today, ERC offers an applicant tracking system, a multirater assessment system, automated new hire, departing employee and climate surveys, validated pre-hire assessments and an online training program for interviewers.
In 2005, the company announced the release of ARGOS version 3.5 and at that time, also announced the launch of ARGOS Assessment Company, an application service provider, to focus exclusively on multirater assessment services.
