You probably know this company by the name of its product, SonicRecruit, an ATS service delivered over the Web. Cytiva Software is the parent company with offices in the U.S. and Canada, where its stock trades in the under $1 range, when it trades at all. After two years of successive losses, Cytiva appears to have regained some buoyancy in 2007, reporting a profit for the third quarter. That's certainly good news to the 175 clients the company claims as users of its over-the-Web ATS and who appear to be satisfied users. The company's client-review page has a dozen complimentary comments about its technology, service, and support, a report card borne out by ERE's own 2005 evaluation of SonicRecruit. The company got high marks from users in a number of categories and did especially well on the Vendor Performance Assessment, beating both the industry average and the average of other systems and companies their size.
In December 2007, Cytiva acquired One45 Software, Inc, developers of medical school education administration and performance management software. Even though One45 also had a couple products for managing corporate employee performance and 360-degree evaluations, Cytiva's acquisition signals the company's plan to, in its own words, move "into a broader corporate performance management market… Cytiva also sees One45's performance management product as the basis for a healthcare-specific talent management suite to include recruiting, performance management and workforce deployment, among other modules."News & Updates

An advanced ATS for mid-sized companies in the 500-5,000 employee range. SonicRecruit users participating in ERE's 2005 vendor survey gave the product generally better than average scores and noted its reporting tools and superior employee referral and resume management functionality. It offers all the services recruiters request including CRM, scheduling, calendaring, sourcing and posting convenience. It integrates with third party services for screening and assessment (or use your own). There are also additional modules for hiring managers that offer a high degree of self-service to speed the hiring process as well as process visibility. There's also a module for staffing vendors, giving them direct access into limited parts of the system. Expect to pay in the $30,000 range for the first year. -

This is a SonicRecruit add-on to meet the unique needs of recruiting an hourly workforce. It includes a voice response component allowing for telephone applications and an Onsite Recruiter appliance to collect and screen applications offline then upload them into the ATS. Has a kiosk / touch-screen capability. -

A large scale deployment for companies with multiple offices and locations, even multiple subsidiary companies.
