Chameleon-i is the applicant tracking solution created by Remedy HCMS, Ltd. (Human Capital Management Solutions), a new recruitment software company formed in 2007 and based in Guildford, United Kingdom. Information is sparse about the company because it is new, though company officials were quick to respond to our questions.
The tools are on-demand and Web-based (SaaS), designed for start-up and small employment agencies in the British market. The business model is to sell a core recruitment management service, essentially a stripped down ATS designed for employment agencies. Additional components can be added at any time, based on the agency's need. So, for instance, the ATS service doesn't include a job posting tool (which we think should rightly be a core component). However, you can add a module that connects with U.K. job distributor Broadbean, providing access to some 700 job boards.
There are additional modules for website and career site integration and back-office tools. It's a pay-as-you-go service that can certainly make it easier on a startup's pocketbook.Products & Services
