This U.K. software company has a thing for cactus. It has two off-the-shelf products, a shopping cart, and a job board called Parodia, which is a type of cactus. The 10-year-old company has an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and, judging from the number of job boards carrying the Parodia brand, appears to be doing well enough. However, a Google search also turned up quite a few commentaries and warnings about secruity bugs in the company's software. There's no evidence the company has addressed them; the latest warning is current as of December 2007. If the company has responded, it isn't on its blog, which hasn't been updated since 2006.

Job board for commercial and corporate use. Sites we reviewed showed the product offers all the standard features and permits a high degree of design customization. Its $6,100 price tag includes six months of support and upgrades. One caveat: Parodia software has a security vulnerability and is listed on the National Vulnerability Database of the Department of Homeland Security's National Cyber Security Division.
