StarSearcher ATS is the American arm of Bond International Software, the U.K.-based firm that serves global clients including Manpower and British Airways. The parent company is certainly one of the biggest, if not the biggest, supplier of software to the staffing industry. Its 2006 deal with Manpower alone was worth $12 million (USD). The last few years have seen Bond grow, opening an office in Hong Kong, acquiring Strictly Education Limited and recruitment software specialist Gowi Group, and raising $10 million in new capital.

Its U.S. division is growing even more rapidly, targeting companies of up to 2,500 employees. Its StarSearcher ATS offers the features recruiters most want and because it is built around Microsoft Office products, the most widely used in the world, there's a comfortable feel to the interface. Plus, StarSearcher is sold only by members of the Microsoft Partners program, a sales model that leverages the sales teams of other companies.
