The multi-service recruitment marketing and promotions firm not long ago launched a promotions division, with an online mall offering a variety of gifts and recognition awards.

With employees battered by plummeting pension plans, dwindling 401Ks and the layoffs of co-workers, “Anything that a company can do to reduce stress and worry of their employees is important,” says Jill Waldorf, senior vice president, Bayard Promotions. “These simple gestures can go a long way in engaging employees and showing them that the company appreciates their hard work and understands what they are feeling."

The new unit will provide training and guidance for key areas of employment relations and will provide specialty seminars covering the most common errors made by supervisors, managers, executives, and human resource professionals.

Mark DeChant has been appointed managing director of Bayard Advertising Agency Worklight Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) division.

DeChant was formerly an area sales manager for CareerBuilder where he led sales, operations and the financial activities of CareerBuilder’s Phoenix office. He also acted as an account executive responsible for driving more than $1 million incremental revenue growth for Fortune 1,000 companies.
