Avature is a global outsource recruiter with a sizeable technology arm.
Founded by HotJobs expatriate Dimitri Boylan, the company offers recruiting services from single contracts to near RPO. A Jobster posting by one of its employees describes the company this way: "We deliver the cost savings of outsourcing without the commitment and risks that accompany big outsourcing deals."
Avature has specialties in manufacturing, retail and technology, and it offers a geographical concentration in Latin America and China, where Boylan serves on the board of Zhaopin.com.
For companies annually hiring more than 100 employees for the same job, such as customer service representatives, Avature will develop and execute a marketing campaign, including advertising and search-engine marketing. And, for good measure, Avature will even design a corporate careers site for you.
While search is still a big part of the company, Avature also offers recruitment technology and process consulting. Its flagship product, Recruiting CRM, is about half the business, and for good reason. In naming it to the Top 10 HR products of 2008, the editors of Human Resource Executive said Recruiting CRM "represents a major step forward in making the often messy, time-consuming process of recruiting more manageable and efficient."
