Automated Business Designs was established in 1982 as a software development company focused on products for the staffing industry.
In the past 25 years, the company has completed more than 500 installations in North America and Europe, growing in revenue, clients, and profits.
Today, the firm offers a suite of front- and back-office software, as well as in-house training and custom software development for staffing firms. Ultra-STAFF
Ultra-STAFF is a front-office solution tailored to meet the needs of placement firms. It has modules specific for contract, direct hire, and medical placement, making Ultra-STAFF a highly flexible system. It comes in three editions, each of which is fully-featured but designed to handle different load levels. It offers all the services and features staffing firms and internal staffing departments want, including CRM, time and schedule management, rate and placement histories, and document management. It integrates with back-office functions for payroll, billing, and accounting and is Web-enabled to allow for remote access and self-service. -
Ulta-STAFF Web Suite
The Ultra-STAFF Web Suite is a product collection designed to exchange data with clients, employees, websites, job posting boards, etc. The Web Suite is comprised of Web Extensions (one-click post to your site), Web Export Link (send jobs to multiple boards), Resume Agent (Web search for passive resumes), Web ASE Link (imports applications from your site), Web JOB Link (imports jobs from your site), and Web Portal (VMS and online timesheet module). -
Back Office
Back Office takes Ultra-STAFF activity and produces invoices/checks. The Temp Pay/Bill module is designed specifically for staffing and handles taxes, deductions, and workers' compensation, as required by the industry. Perm Billing invoices from placements allows flexible terms and dating. Back Office includes Time Capture, Temp Pay/Bill (modules for Direct Deposit, Positive Pay, and others also available), Perm Billing, Sales Analysis, and A/R.
