Arbita provides recruitment marketing technology, media and services for companies in the U.S and globally. The Arbita software is used by corporate recruiters to post and manage postings on multiple job boards and networks simultaneously.
In 2008 its core business -job posting distribution - has been supplemented by the companys combining with Job Machine, the recruiter training, coaching and sourcing consultancy founded by Sally Steckerl.
Today, Arbita's provides job posting and distribution, recruitment media analytics and management, career website development, optimization, employment branding and recruiter development through seminars, onsite workshops, webinars and strategic sourcing consulting by its Job Machine division.
The company is the outgrowth of RecruitUSA, another venture founded by CEO Don Ramer. Ramer saw the growth in the international arena, and in March 2006, the RecruitUSA business was morphed into Arbita, a business formed to incorporate both the North American and global markets.
To all appearances, Ramer's strategy seems to be working. The company has announced a steady stream of alliances both in the U.S. and abroad, and in 2007 was on track to triple its international job-board partners to nearly 1,200. When Steckerl went looking for a way to grow Job Machine, he chose to merge with Arbita.
