Applied Systems Technology, Inc.
From its rural headquartes in New York's scenic Hudson Valley, Applied Systems Technology, or AST as it is also known, sells software for the staffing industry. The company boasts that it is the only provider of a mid-tier Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application for staffing firms. The tool sets that comprise the ERP suite are available separately but together they comprise a complete front- and back-office solution that automates not only mundane tasks, but provides the kind of business intelligence that improves productivity and offers the data necessary for good decision-making. This is especially attractive to firms with multiple offices or service lines.
Most staffing firms of any size already have experience with the basic tools of the trade. But to get the most out of the integrated AST suite, the company provides training and pre-sales consulting.
For firms not ready to scale up to the complete tool set, AST provides solutions scaled to the size of the firm.
AST offers products for firms with fewer than three offices and sales of under $3 million annually to large-scale firms billing $50 million or more. It also has specialized features for the complex world of medical staffing. All of the solutions include ATS and CRM functionality, plus back-office integration, including payroll.
