From a 200-year-old barn in a bucolic country setting, AIRS provides high tech sourcing solutions and teaches equally high tech sourcing methods to recruiters at many of the biggest companies in the U.S.
The company's corner of the human capital market is one of the most crowded, yet in only 10 years AIRS has managed to train a sizeable portion of the recruiting industry, introducing terms like X-ray and Flip into the lexicon. Use those words at any HR conference and your peers know you've been to an AIRS workshop.
SourcePoint, the company's ATS product, is in use by many of the Fortune 500 companies that are its training clients. But simpler versions are available for companies as small as one or two recruiters. In addition to technology and training, AIRS will also handle sourcing for high volume positions.
One other point to consider: for two years in a row now AIRS has been named one of the best places to work in Vermont by the state's business journal.
In February 2008, TheRightThing acquired AIRS. The announcement was made by the CEOs of each company and was notable for its ebullience and the enthusiasm of the two leaders for their future work together.

SourcePoint
This is a powerful tool that comes in two basic flavors: Enterprise for big employers and federal contractors, and; Team for companies with as few as a single recruiter. Besides providing all the basic ATS features, SourcePoint can access millions of passive candidates and search across multiple resume databases to generate a names list. Optional modules are available to provide a complete corporate career site and cross-posting of openings to multiple job boards. The SearchBuilder module (available only with the Enterprise edition) is an automated sourcing tool that can conduct a search, compile a candidate list and even rank them, all from a job req. -
Horizons
Once you've covered the in-bound side of HR, what about the outbound employees? That's the idea behind Horizons, a tool to help transition displaced employees into new jobs. Not just a technical job search service, it includes coaching and training of the outbound worker. -
Sourcing Services
Just what it sounds like, this is a search service for companies in continuous recruitment for the same or similar jobs. AIRS says it can handle the search, candidate contacts and the like for under $300 per hire.
