CareerBuilder has launched a Norwegian job board in partnership with its Swedish subsidiary, Jobbguiden.se. As part of the launch, CareerBuilder.no and MSN announced a strategic alliance that makes CareerBuilder.no the exclusive job search engine and content provider for the MSN Careers channel in Norway through 2013.
CareerBuilder bought Jobbguiden.se last year, about the same time Microsoft, which owns MSN, acquired a part interest in CareerBuilder.

Craigslist Considering Charging For Job Postings In More Cities Jul 26, 2008
Even Craigslist is not immune from U.S. economic conditions, reports Silicon Alley Insider. Reports SAI: "Employment ads are flat in the first six months of 2008, reflecting a slowdown in Craigslists' biggest and most mature markets - San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston and DC."
But elsewhere, employment ads continue to grow and Craigslist exec Jim Buckmaster says the company may start charging for job postings in Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia and Phoenix.

Monster Returning To The Super Bowl Nov 24, 2008
Monster will become the official career services sponsor of the NFL and will return to the Super Bowl commerical lineup after an absence of four years.
Its part of a marketing deal Monster struck with the NFL that will give it sponsorship of the NFL Draft, NFL Kickoff, NFL Playoffs, Super Bowl and NFL Pro Bowl.
Monster and the NFL will also jointly create a customized, year-long promotion that will be introduced during the Super Bowl on February 1, 2009.

Rainier “Onyx” Herrera has been picked as the “NFL Director of Fandemonium.” In a marketing promotion with the National Football League, Monster launched the search for the position at Super Bowl XLIII. Herrera was selected from among the 32 finalists interviewed for the role over two days last month at the NFL's New York headquarters.
Ironically, Herrera is from Hawaii, which has no NFL team, though the Pro Bowl was played in the island state for the last 29 years. Next year, it will be played in Miami.
