A survey from CareerBuilder says 47 percent of workers report they always or usually live paycheck to paycheck just to make ends meet, up from 43 percent last year. One-in-five (21 percent) workers with salaries of $100,000 or more report they too live paycheck to paycheck.

According to a new survey by CareerBuilder completed in June, 48 percent of workers who were laid off from full-time jobs in the last three months have found new full-time positions; up from 41 percent in March. An additional three percent found part-time positions; down from 8 percent in the previous survey. Majority of Workers Live Paycheck to Paycheck Sep 17, 2009
A CareerBuilder survey has found 61 percent of workers live paycheck to paycheck just to make ends meet, up from 49 percent last year and 43 percent in 2007.
The survey of 4,400 workers found that even among those earning $100k or more, 30 percent say they too live paycheck to paycheck, up from 21 percent in 2008.
