Court Approves Monster's Stock Backdating Settlement Oct 7, 2008
Monster moved a step closer today to putting its stock backdating lawsuits behind it. The Supreme Court of the State of New York (a trial court, not the state's highest court which is known as the Court of Appeals) has issued an order granting final approval of the settlement of the state and federal court derivative lawsuits. The settlement was announced a few months ago.
A hearing with respect to final approval of the settlement of the federal shareholder class action is scheduled for November 21, 2008.
