Bullhorn Says It Had a Great Q2 Jul 30, 2008
Privately held Bullhorn issued a press release Wednesday boasting about a stellar second quarter in which it got $26 million in venture funding and said it saw a 40 percent grwoth in revenue over the same quarter in 2007.
Bullhorn also said it had "79% growth in licensed revenue from the enterprise market. In terms of new users, the company experienced a 65% year-over-year increase to 1,322 in the quarter, led by a 127% increase in sales to new enterprise customers..."

Craigslist Considering Charging For Job Postings In More Cities Jul 26, 2008
Even Craigslist is not immune from U.S. economic conditions, reports Silicon Alley Insider. Reports SAI: "Employment ads are flat in the first six months of 2008, reflecting a slowdown in Craigslists' biggest and most mature markets - San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston and DC."
But elsewhere, employment ads continue to grow and Craigslist exec Jim Buckmaster says the company may start charging for job postings in Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia and Phoenix.

Workstream Finds Some Good News - Sort Of Jul 25, 2008
For the first time in many quarters Workstream (profile; site) was in the money - sort of - eking out a half-million dollar finish to its 2008 fiscal year. The talent management software company reported Thursday evening that it had an EBITDA of $516,000 for the fourth quarter that ended May 31.
